Te amo, Barcelona.

Posted on Posted in Travel

In July 2016 David and I escaped the intense Hong Kong summer with a trip to Spain and Switzerland before heading home to the States for a few weeks of family time. The trip started with nine days in Barcelona, which is not nearly enough time to spend on the Mediterranean coast, but it was magical all the same.

We stayed in a cute apartment in the Gothic District, which put us in the heart of the oldest (and most touristy) part of town. Luckily there is a lot to see and plenty of warm sand and cool water for a refreshing change of pace. Oh, and cava. Lots and lots of cava.
